Rotessa Red Cabbage is mildly flavored and fully pre-cooked. Can be served as a delicious cold salad or heated and served with Sauerbraten, Knödels and gravy for a traditional German meal. To heat, simmer in water or meat stock for approximately 15 minutes (small can use 1/2 cup of water; large can uses 1 cup). Additional ingredients can be added according to each person's taste (i.e., diced onions and/or finely diced Schaller & Weber Double-smoked Bacon).
