I love the flavor and reminds me of when my Oma made them for us. I sauté the onions first in some butter then add in the potatoes, add a little salt and pepper and they are ready in minutes. Since the potatoes are softened, they are done in no time. You can add caraway seeds, but I prefer them without. So tasty and a great side to my schnitzel. Highly recommend this brand.

I love the way Germans make fried potatoes, but as am American I have never been able to replicate it. These come as close as I've found to those we've eaten in Germany on several visits. Just be prepared - it your oil is hot when you add these potatoes, there will be a lot of splattering!
