Description

Surprise your family for dinner with this entree mix from Knorr. Swedish Meatballs with mushrooms in a delicious creamy sauce. Serve with rice or German Spaetzle. Preparation for 1 pound (400g) ground beef, 2 cups (150g) sliced mushrooms (fresh or canned), 1/2 cup (100 ml) heavy cream. Add salt and pepper to the ground beef, mix well and form into approximately 15 small balls. Quarter the mushroom (champignons). 2. Fry the ground beef balls in hot oil on medium heat for approx. 6 min., add the mushrooms. 3. Push the ground beef balls to the edge of pan, add 1 1/2 cups (350ml) cold water and 1/2 cup (100ml) heavy cream and stir in the contents of one bag. 4. Bring to a boil and stir occasionally. Cook at low heat for approx. 5 min.

Koettbullar

I made the so called Koettbullar exactly according to the recipe on the package. I never make this again. The little meatballs were dry and tasteless and had the consistency of little bullets. The sauce is tasteless . The only good thing were the mushrooms and Potatoes.
