If I want to make my family really, really, really happy, this is what I serve. In beef broth or sometimes sauteed in butter with onions. Oh, so good!!

This was my first time trying these, so I read the reviews on how others prepared theirs. I decided to steam them in chicken broth, while doing so, sauteed onions & mushrooms in butter another skillet, then transferred them to the same skillet with the butter, mushrooms, onions, browned them on both sides and served them with my favorite go to sauce from Knorr, Parma Rosa. All my husband & I could say was WOW! I have one more pack & can't wait to fix them again! Then I will be ordering more!

Haven't had these for decades! I'm not a big fan of veal, but after boiling them in broth I sauteed them in lots of butter and some onions. Served with red cabbage - delicious!
We just returned from Germany after going to watch the opening of the soccer season and visited Stuttgart before going home so we could partake of Maultasche specifically. These are as tasty and delicious as those we had there. Order plenty and freeze, you will love them.
Grandma made this very often, they were a lot smaller in size, would like to see then available in a ravioli size or smaller,let us know if this possible
I am so happy that I have finely found these Maultaschen. I ordered just 1 package because of some bad reviews. I should not have. They are wonderful. The dough is not falling apart and the taste is excellent. This is not the laste time I will order them but the last time I will order only 1 package.

Too bad GermanDeli switched products -- Schwob's (out of NY) Maultaschen were really, really excellent. These new ones aren't bad, but they don't measure up in terms of flavor and consistency. Schade!

The producer recently adjusted the dough recipe and the Maultaschen are now so much better. Give them a try, we think you'll be pleased.
These are bad compared to the maultaschen the Deli used to get. This product isn't in the same class as the old one. These are so thin, few layers, and they fall apart when you cook them. I think they should stop selling them until they can get a product worth buying. I asked for my money back. This does not live up to German Deli's standards. Please find us better maultaschen!!!
As some others, I prefer the previous Maultaschen. These tasted more of celery and the others had a subtle nutmeg flavor. The dough of the previously carried product was superior in taste and texture. That said, it did not keep us from enjoying these. The hint that they fall apart when put into boiling/simmering water helped me to judge the amount of time they were left in the water before I sauteed them with onions and Schaller & Weber bacon...
Just prepared the Kocher brand for my family, with sautÃ©d onions and sautÃ©d shitake mushrooms and freshly grated asiago cheese. These were a hit, delicious!

I just received my first order from German Deli and was blown away by the quality of the packing ! Super ! Maultaschen are one of my favorites from back home (Wurtemberg) so I was quite skeptical and expected them to be just OK - but they were absolutely AMAZING!! They are bursting with flavour, they are tender, yet held together very well. I fried some onions in butter and then added the Maultaschen (cut into strips) and slightly browned them. My husband and gobbled them up with a nice green salad. YUMMY! What was left was fried up with some eggs the next morning !
I bought 10 packages as a special dinner for my sons who both loved Maultaschen during their vacations in Germany. They have desired Maultaschen for a while but were unable to locate it at all in the United States so this was a real treat to locate! I am from the area of Germany-Swabia where they originated. We all thought these were very much like what you find in a restaurant there. They were delicious and we enjoyed them tremendously. They were well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. What a treat!
Geschmack und Textur authentisch, Donnerwetter ! Handfest, gut zu servieren in Bouillon oder mit Spinat. Der/die Uneingeweihte kÃ¶nnte sie fuer body armor halten. Wenn man sie selbst macht, dann kann man den Teig um Einiges duenner ausrollen, ohne wegen Hochverrats aufgeknÃ¼pft zu werden.
I just received 2 packages today as a gift. I'd been craving them since visiting Stuttgart so it was wonderful timing. They arrived in excellent condition but I wasn't going to waste a moment of them being in the fridge! I cooked them tonite (warmed them up in beef broth) and then sliced and sauteed them in butter and added some sauteed onions and a little bit of gravy. Heaven. I can't wait to order more in the future!
