Jägerpfanne mit Würstchen

(Hunter’s Dish with Mild Sausage)


250g mixed mushrooms (white, oyster, etc.)

2 tbsp Estermann Sonnenblumenöl (Sunflower oil)

1 1/2 cups water

½ cup heavy whipping cream

1 package Knorr Fix Schwedische Hackbällchen Köttbullar

1 jar Meica Wiener Würstchen (Pork Wiener), sliced in big chunks

2-3 teaspoons of herbs (chives or parsley)


Wash & chop mushrooms. In a pan, sauté them in some butter until they shrink in size. Add 1 ½ cups of water & ½ cup whipping cream. Mix in Knorr Fix Schwedische Hackbällchen Köttbullar package contents & bring to a boil. Add sliced sausage and let warm in pan. Sprinkle with herbs to serve.

Serve with authentic German Brötchen or Bread, Bratkartoffeln (German fried potatoes), a salad made with your favorite flavor of Salat-Krönung, and a small dish of German Pflaumen (German plums) for dessert.
