Nuss Schinken

by - verified purchaser
I bought it a couple month ago and I was not disappointed. Tastes great as cold cut or wonderful with fresh Aspargus and Petersilien Kartoffeln, noch besser einen Strammen Max, Schinkenbrot mit einem Spiegelei oben drauf. Guten Appetit

I was excited to get this, however it is VERY salty. I don't remember ever eating such a salty Schinken and I am German..... A little disappointing.

Called Nußschinken

by
in Germany. Got one as a gift for xmas and it does taste a lot like the ones in Germany. In US most everything is called either Italian, French, Canadian, etc but usually never identified if it came from Germany, like this Nußschinken. That is too bad.

Nuß Schinken or Canadian Bcacon in US

by
Great tasting Schinken known in US as Canadian bacon. LOVE and highly recommend it. Will order after we finish German Rohen Schinken from Black Forest, Westpfalen, etc - it's not prosciutto but much better w/out that 'gamey' flavor - IMHO - LOL
