Ground Cardamom - a spice to be used for backing, sweets, fruits and sweet marinades. Cardamom is part of the ginger family and may be needed for certain German recipes when baking for the Christmas holidays. Although the ground version is not as strong as the fresh, be sure to always use it sparingly and follow recipe directions carefully.
