Made in Germany! These delicious Multi-Grain Rolls are pre-baked and frozen for finished baking in the oven at home. A round, mixed wheat roll with 30% seeds (including linseed, sesame seeds and sunflower seeds. Simple to prepare. Bake at approximately 400 degrees Fahrenheit (preheat oven) for 10 minutes (baking time may vary depending on your oven temperature). If Brötchen are defrosted, baking time will be approximately half the time (5 minutes). Steam is required during the baking time. Either throw a cup of water into the bottom of your oven, or place a pan with water on the lowest rack. Depending on the temperature in your refrigerator, these rolls may be stored for up to 14 days unfrozen. Room temperature they will keep for one (1) day; in a normal refrigerature you may store them for approximately four (4) days. These rolls hold up perfectly when defrosted. They will be spungy to the feel and will spring back into their original shape.
Please note: Despite all manners of shipping dry ice, cold packs, etc., we have found it almost impossible to keep baked items frozen when we ship. The USDA confirms that there is no safety risk to refreeze baked items that have been pre-baked. However, it is best if they are refrozen as soon as you receive the package.
