Sugar (3.7% powdered sugar), wheat flour, wheat starch, gelatin, modified starch, baking powder, rice starch, emulsifier (E475, E471, E433), citric acid, salt, flavoring, thickener E466.

Preparation: Butter the spring form pan (approx. 10" Diameter) and line the bottom with parchment paper. Preheat your conventional oven to 340F(convection ovens should be preheated to 305F). Combine in a mixing bowl the package contents of the baking mixture with the butter and eggs. Mix well and spread the dough into a prepared spring form pan. Place it into the preheated oven and bake for approx. 30 minutes. Remove the spring form ring and let the cake cool off completely. Slice the cake into two layers. Cut the top layer into 10 even wedges and set aside. Preparing the filling: Mix the whipping cream until firm. Whisk the contents of the filling mix with the water until mixture is smooth. Add the quark to the mixture until it is all incorporated. Fold in one half of the whipped cream until everything is smooth and then fold in the other half of the whipped cream. Assembling the cake: Lay the Tortenring around the bottom layer of the cake. Add the entire filling onto the cake bottom. Place the wedges on top of the filling and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Gently loosen the Tortenring. Sprinkle the Décor-sugar on the top and serve immediately. Enjoy!
