Fondant Stars bottom-dipped in a thin layer of Semi-sweet Chocolate. It's hard to explain the "egg yolk" in the middle, but this is how we had them back in Germany many, many years ago and we still like them this way. The uniform shape of a star with the bright orange in the middle continues an old tradition. These were always found in our "Christmas Plate" on Christmas Eve (together with Gingerbread Cookies, Fruits, and Nuts). The Stars are packaged ten (10) pieces to a tray. Very traditional in Germany and most likely to be found in almost every home at Christmas time. For best results, store cool and dry.
