Frikadellen with
Swedish Meatball Sauce

  1 package Knorr Hackbraten Fix
½ pound ground beef
½ pound ground pork
1 egg
1 Tablespoon finely chopped parsley

In a bowl, mix the Hackbraten Fix with 1 cup water
Add the beef, pork, parsley, and egg
Mix well and with dampened hands form meatballs
Fry the Frikadellen in oil until browned and finish in a 350°F oven for about 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, to the pan drippings add two chopped shallots and 6 large sliced mushrooms and sauté until tender

Add to the pan 1 package Knorr Fix für Schwedische Hackbällchen
1 4 cup water cups of water
½ cup heavy cream
Salt & pepper to taste

Mix all ingredients together until thickened and the sauce coats the back of the spoon.  Serve over the hot meatballs.  Garnish with parsley.
