Recipe for Gebratene Leberkäse
Gebratene Leberkäse
(Pan-Fried Leberkäse)
Ingredients:
1/2 cup flour
2 eggs
3/4 cup Paniermehl (German Bread Crumbs)
4 slices Leberkäse (about 500g)
4 tsp Löwensenf medium spicy mustard

(optional)
1 package German Bratkartoffeln
Knorr Salat-Krönung Salad Dressing Packets

Preparation:
Beat eggs well. Place the flour, beaten eggs, and Paniermehl (bread crumbs) in separate dishes.
Cut Leberkäse slices in half. Coat each piece of Leberkäse with mustard.
Dredge Leberkäse first in flour until the surface is completely dry.
Dip in egg to coat, allow the excess to drip off for a few seconds and then roll quickly in the breadcrumbs until coated.

Heat 3 tablespoons of oil in a non-stick pan.
On medium heat, pan-fry Leberkäse for 3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.

If desired, serve with German Bratkartoffeln and a green salad dressed with your favorite flavor of Knorr Salat-Krönung.
