We received the order today, much faster than expected. I think I just
ordered late Sunday night. The order was for my husband for his
birthday. He happened to come home early and see the delivery so I let him
open it, especially since it's perishables. The order was packaged and
protected very well. Even the Topkuss Minis were nearly all unbroken.
My husband is from Germany, his family moved to the US when he was 11. His
mother visits Germany occasionally and brings him favorites from home. But,
she can only bring certain things back (ie, Senf, German chocolates, and
Badedas). So, he was really excited about the entire order when he opened
it. I was guessing that he would like the Crackling Fat, he was really
surprised and will go buy some hearty bread to spread it on tomorrow.
We appreciate your care in packaging and getting our order to us so quickly.
Your prices are reasonable enough to make it worth paying for the shipping
occasionally for such a treat. We will definitely be ordering again, esp. if
you get some Kuchenmeister Mohn-Streusel in. ;)

and say how excited I am to have found this site. I lived in Germany for
6 months plus lived in Belgium for 2.5 years and visited Germany as much
as possible when I lived there.
I have some very close friends who live in Flein and Weinsberg, Baden
Wuertenberg who send me items and I see them every so often, but am so

I run out of my sosse mixes I am quite distressed as I have/had grown so

Got my order! Very pleased!
Man those sour sticks were an instant transport back 41 years as a child in
Augsburg standing at the back of the old German candy man's blue VW micro
bus. The sights & smells oooohhhhh.
Thank you so very much for providing an immensely satisfying stroll down
memory lane for my brother, sister & me! I have searched for 41 yrs for
those sour sticks & have tried to explain them to thousands of people
unsuccessfully, comparing them 'slightly' to sweet tarts but not quite the
same. They taste exactly as I/we remembered them & will be ordering many
more of them & other remembered & treasured 'candies' soon.
Haha you have opened a virtual flood of wonderful childhood memories of
Germany circa 1963-1966 thank you so very much especially the support of our
military! Being an Army brat & having a son serving now, having just come
back from 2 yrs in Darmstadt & now training to go downrange to Iraq in
August, I am able to share my German memories with him & now some of the
candies.
I spent his last 3 months of '07 in Germany, as well as Christmas 2006 & new
years 2007, with him & although able to find the gummi bears & cola gummi's,
I was not able to locate the sour sticks while there haha.

It has been my experience ordering via the Internet to conclude the merchant
in question has the best customer service possible.
From the display of merchandise offered for sale, clear identification of
weight and cost of each article ordered, to estimate of the shipping cost,
should serve as norm for others. The fact that the company does not keep the
record of credit card used for purchase, after the completion of the order,
gives customer feeling of additional protection.
Further , the communications with the customer regarding the progress of
packaging, and forwarding customers order to the shipping company and
allowing the customer to follow the shipping progress is call beyond the
call of duty.
