Recipe for Schnüsch
Old Flensburger Recipe


Ingredients:

7oz Potatoes (small size)
7oz broad Beans (Hak beans)
8.8oz peas (Hak peas)
8.8oz carrots (Hak carrots)
8.8oz kohlrabi
8.8oz green Beans (Hak green beans)
1 Liter (4 cups) milk or cream, parsley (chopped)
1 Tsp. butter (Meggle)

Boil potatoes in salted water, peel, and slice.
Kohlrabi: clean, cut into dices and boil in salted water until done.
Note: The Hak vegetables don’t need to be boiled (just drained)!
Heat up milk/cream with parsley and butter and add the vegetables and potatoes. Salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy!

Serve as a side: Prosciutto or Matjes(Larsen/Ice Land Matjes)

Note: You can also freeze Schnüsch!
