Knackwurst is a German tradition and it's impossible to describe the taste. Short, thick and full of flavor. Best served warm. Delicious with a side of potato salad or with pea soup. These sausages are precooked so you need only heat them. Simply bring water to a boil, drop in sausages, cover and turn off the heat. Let stand approximately 15 until heated through. One package contains 5 links. Keep frozen for up to 2 months. If Knackwurst arrives defrosted, store in refrigerator for no longer than 2 weeks.
