Recipe for Wurstsalat

Wurstsalat
(German-Style Meat Salad)
This style of "Wurstsalat" is traditionally made with thinly sliced German-style cold cuts.

Ingredients:
1 entire ring of Siegi's Ring Bologna (Ringwurst) or 1 and one half Stiglmeier Garlic Bologna
2 packages Knorr Salat-Krönung, any flavor
1 medium onion
2 tablespoons ARO Sonnenblumenöl (Sunflower oil)
10 tablespoons water
salt & pepper to taste

(optional)
May be served with slices of German Roggenkruste (Crusty Rye) Bread and crispy Bratkartoffeln from Kartoffelland (German fried potatoes).

Preparation:
Using an electric slicer, slice 1 package of ringwurst into very, very thin slices (1/16 of an inch or less). Slice 1 medium onion into very thin slices (use the same setting). Mix together in a large serving bowl. In a separate bowl, whisk together 2 packages of Knorr Salat-Krönung, 10 tbsps water, and 2 tbsp. ARO sunflower oil. Add salt and pepper to taste. Pour this salad dressing mix over ringwurst and onions and toss until mixed well. Refrigerate overnight for extra flavor and toss again before serving.

For a large party, double the ingredients and follow the same instructions.
