Spitzbrotchen!!!

by
I've been looking for you for a long time, my Spitzbrotchen. You've filled an empty space for years. A very good product. Will purchase again and again. The family can't get enough of them.

To customer "Renee"

RESPONSE from GermanDeli to Renee:

Dear Renee,

Make sure your oven is preheated to at least 375 degrees Fahrenheit. For some ovens 400 degrees is even better. Your oven temperature should be at Medium-high (375 F. to 400 F) when you put the frozen Brötchen.

Put the FROZEN Brötchen on a baking sheet with space between each roll. A thawed Brötchen won't bake up crispy, so put them back in the freezer to freeze COMPLETELY, if they have thawed out.

Once in the PREHEATED oven, if the Brötchen are a bit close together, take the pan out at about 7 minutes and move the Broetchen around and then put them back in the oven. This step will help them to bake more evenly.

Usually, the Brötchen need only about 10 minutes baking time, but not all ovens are the same, so lengthen or shorten the baking time as needed.

Broetchen - guter Geschmack!

by
Upon receiving my order - I immediate opened the package and stuck half a dozen into the oven to heat them up. It says 8 min. - I did that and they were warm but not brown. After 12 min. they were still "blass" (not even a little brown.) They never turned out to look nice and crispy like the picture shows. But they tasted very good! What did I do wrong??? :( >>From GermanDeli:

Already ordered a couple times. These are wonderful, light and crispy rolls! The boys and I ate all 12 on Christmas Eve with assorted salami and cheeses...delicious!
