RESPONSE FROM GERMANDELI:
MSG is a synthetically derived & highly concentrated flavor enhancer that is almost completely made up of glutamates.
Some consumer groups have claimed that certain food ingredients, such as autolyzed yeast and hydrolyzed protein, are MSG in disguise. They are not. They are among other ingredients that are completely natural but happen to have substantial amounts of glutamates, but nowhere near the concentration found in MSG.
While some people may be sensitive to even these small levels of glutamate, these ingredients are always clearly identified on the labels so that people can be aware of ingredients they'd like to avoid. These are natural ingredients that are definitely of grave concern for people who are sensitive to them, but they are not MSG.

I have bought this a few times .I have three Girls I gave them some to try to see if they would like it .We all love it .we have used others but no go. This is the only one we all use
In response to Noelle B...We're sorry to hear that the flavor of Knorr's Salat-Krönung is not as good anymore. Yes, they did remove the MSG from these products last year.If you're missing the special flavor that MSG gave to this item, try adding a bit of Accent next time you use it. Accent is available at pretty much any supermarket in the USA. It is a ‘flavor enhancer’ that is pure MSG (monosodium glutamate). Hopefully this helps!
I have been buying this product for ten years. LOVED LOVED LOVED it. I was always the hit of parties with my cucumbers. Last year, you took the MSG out of it. The flavor is ruined. It is just fine, but I can get 'fine' in the states. I HAD special. Please put the original flavor back! I dont care about a little MSG.....soooo worth it!
is the best
