I love all German Wurst and especially German Blutwurst and ordered this brand several times. However, the last one had just a few too many hard grizzily bits in it that should NOT be in there. I loved the taste, but not the texture! I will only order the Zungenblutwurt for now, because it had a smoother taste.

Very Tasty

This is probably the best Blutwurst you can buy in the US - it tastes just like in Germany, very good texture and the seasoning is just right. I will be buying it again.

German Blutwurst - LOVE IT
by Anneliese
Boudin? I never had boudin like this? It's German Blutwurst :). I especially love the Zungenblutwurst. My question: Why can't you get Blutwurst or Leberwurst that is made in Germany? You do have the Nürnberger Bratwurst, so why not Blutwurst, and Leberwurst? I think Germany makes the VERY best Wurst or sausage in Europe. They have so many varieties & all taste so delicious! ANSWER FROM GERMANDELI: The USDA regulates which meat products are permitted to be imported from Germany. So far, none of the German Blutwurst producers have been approved, most likely because they have not yet applied to the USDA.
