This has exactly the right texture for Fleishsalat! Not rubbery, firm but very tender. I've tried all kinds of local and imported bolognas and meats. Never tried this because of the "garlic" name, but it's misleading because it really has a great mild flavor. Perfect texture and perfect flavor. My search is over. Thank you German Deli.
Stiglmeier Fleischwurst mit Knoblauch (Garlic Bologna approx. 1lb)
Stigl Garlic Bologna 1 lb
DescriptionBologna from Stiglmeier has a very mild garlic flavor. It's ready to eat and can be cut into thin slices for a great German sandwich (Wurstbrot) or added to a cold cut platter. One of our favorite ways to serve this Fleischwurst is to dice the meat, dice German pickles, and mix with German Mayonnaise. Just add salt & pepper to taste and you have a wonderful German Fleischsalat (Meat Salad). Our customers are crazy about it! The garlic adds just the right flavor. One chub measures approximately 6 1/2 inches long and 2 inches wide. Keep refrigerated for up to two (2) weeks.

My son returned from Germany and all he could talk about was Fleischwurst. I could only find it on this site in the US. He loved it, said it was just like he had in Germany. A very happy young man!
This is by far the best Fleischwurst that is available. This is what Fleischwurst tastes like in Germany. There is just a hint of garlic, if that, so the name is a bit misleading but it is awesome. Hot,cold, either way. Definitely my favorite!
